Cheap Vs Professional Tools
I have tools received numerous e-mails over the years for the purchase of cheap electricity. I often hear: Why should I buy an expensive professional power tool brand, if I have the same options in a no name for half the cost ? Well, a part of this statement is exactly correct, you can get for half the cost of tools, but it stops there. There are six main reason for the power to 'buy a professional power tool or expensive "> Tool. The six reasons are: Tool Options, material, efficiency, safety, anger and time.
Tool Options
The first reason for going with a professional tool power tool options. Lets take a reciprocating saw. The cheap and the professional will also look to like, take the same hand, probably have the same length and same stroke engines amp. But if you look closer there is a big difference with options. For example, take theMilwaukee Sawzall. You have class creates a lot of the features in this tool. No matter what you do, you do not get this blade to pull away from the weapon, while using it. The cheaper instruments lack this option and use cheaper components, we do not lock the blade into place. It rests, but if you are certain pressure on a certain angle, more than likely use to bind the blade and pull away from the saw.
Variable speeds. DifferentApplications require different speeds. The Sawzall to adjust the speed, while most of the tools do not cheaper. The faster you drive, the more power it will take the user to keep square to the tool. Why not set speed for the application?
I could go on and on how the Sawzall has more options for the user than the no name brands, but I will not. In most categories this case, the power tool. Professional tools are designed forserious users and for the duration. These companies have to stay on top of the game, to compete in the competitive industry.
Better material
Professional power tool companies use better materials in their tools. They give millions of dollars each year for research and development. They build lighter, stronger instruments through the material they use. Search for the optimal settings of the instruments. A simple example of materialMetal.
First of stainless steel. There are different grades of stainless steel on the market that these companies can buy. One way to keep a production without a name is too low, by buying a cheaper grade steel, (there are over 60 varieties of stainless steel) but you can still advertise them as stainless steel, because it is technical. With a lower quality of stainless steel can still cause corrosion and corrosion on the inside of the tool is bad for the engine and under wear.On the outside it just looks bad, not to mention cheaper stainless steel is brittle.
Steel is the same. The purer steel, the better. Some no name brands to save money by buying a cheaper steel, so it could have more iron in the iron. Now is what causes iron rust and corrosion on the ground. Some say that they always have to dry their instruments, and fear not. Well, actually, the small amounts of water and oxygen in the air enough to get the corrosion to start.
Ionly touched on the aspect of corrosion. It's still the whole idea with better materials, how to create a better engine metals. The better engine will last longer and therefore less heat. A simple plastic better on the tool may consider it easer to. There are many reasons for which materials make the difference between the tools.
Efficiency
Efficiency is another reason, and one of the most important reasons. A power tool with a madebetter design and better materials is more efficient, ie it can transmit more power output from the source (input) to the. Compare a no name brand name power tools. Maybe they have the same amps and volts, but a brand name power tool can both better transfer of energy. A tool that the power transfer 93% of the blade is in far better than a tool that only 79% transfers. Unfortunately, most power toolsManufacturers never state their efficient transition from input to output, and I'm not sure why, but studies have shown that the better design and materials to make an efficient transfer.
Security
Some of the no name brand tools are in foreign countries. Do not assume that they have the same standard as in other countries. Some of these countries do not have the technology to make good quality tools to produce the machines. Some of these countries either do not have thesame or laws may not even be enforced. So these companies in a foreign land can cut corners. The tool can not be compensated well developed and could cause earlier fatigue with what lead to injuries. Sometimes instruments are cheaper and will break if they break, without which the proper design, it could actually cause an injury at the end.
Security is the most important thing to consider when operating a tool. Why save a few U.S. dollars extra if you speakSecurity. Here, too, may not seem much of it as a great, but remember you are struggling to deal with tools and it is not a good idea to make tools. The tool will work is that you do not. Often with a cheaper or no name brand you need to fight the tool, leading to more fatigue.
Aggravation
More often than not the greatest thing I've seen is anger with no name power tools. I see people all the time trying to, names do not use powerTools, efficiency and should not be used, even power, they may be missing. They end up frustrated with a simple project. I do not know about you, but the right tool for the right project makes in a world of difference.
Take a simple screw as an example. Have you ever gone to the store and seen a lot of screws and thought "Wow, I got this, I could save a lot." Well, I'm sure we all have seen a lot and it would not happenup what happens next. She put them on the shelf and the next time you need a screw access for them. Sure some of the time they work very well, but sometimes the screw head is right. Worst yet, and it happens a lot ends up stripping the screw. That's when it dawns on you that you got ripped out. They used a cheaper material, and you now have to deal with it. The screw is a simple example, but it happens a lot with power tools.
Time
Another factor is time. If youwill work with a power tool, do it the right way and use the right tool. With just one tool is cheaper going to waste time. You could end up broken bits faster, or to cut more or to drill trough of certain materials. Then there is the factor of the purchase of the tool made the road again. With the right tools, a professional tool, you can save a lot of time. Professional power tool manufacturer to develop this toolfor a specific use. They have tested it to make sure that it works as it claims to be.
By now you may think that I work for the industrial power tool, but I do not know. I know this stuff first hand, so I'm used to shop. I ended up buying the cheap no name brand junk and learning the hard way. I do not know how many cheap power tools I buy before I landed my act together and finally bought the good stuff. Well, I still have thegood stuff and have recognized that it pays to spend a few dollars extra now.
